February 16, 2013

This morning I was on twitter and came across this post that I wanted to share with everyone. I am looking to get more followers of my blog and want to share the resources I have with others which are families,  teachers, and  book lovers like me.

Please answer this question:

What upcoming book in 2013 are you most looking forward to reading?  I know that this book has been around for awhile but it is top on my list right now for adult books so I hope this is ok to count for the contest.  Since I am a teacher of elementary students a lot of my current reading is children's books.

In the Garden of Beasts: Love, Terror, and an American Family in Hitler's Berlin

What to do:

1. Post on your blog answering this question:

What upcoming book in 2013 are you most looking forward to reading?

2. Enter the link to your post in the linky list below (enter your Blog Name and the direct link to your post answering this week’s question. Failure to do so will result in removal of your link).

3. Visit other blogs in the list and comment on their posts. Try to spend some time on the blogs reading other posts and possible become a new follower.  The purpose of the hop is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.

I have realized how many great book blogs there are just by doing this blog hop.  I welcome your comments and feedback.

  2. The Hop is lots of fun, isn't it? I've been book blogging for a long time, but I'm still amazed at how many new blogs I find through events like these. Glad to have found YOU via the Hop :)

  3. Hi Diana,

Hope the weather cooperates on Friday, today was an unexpected bonus, though I will be sorry in June when we have to make up these 2 days. I have many books that I want to read...which one to comment on?
I would recommend checking out a series of old nature books that my late husband turned me onto- the Thornton W. Burgess books. They are wonderful to read aloud and I enjoy them. I don't know how popular they will be with modern kids, but you never know.

  4. Thanks everyone for your comments. I am working very hard to build traffic to my site. Since I am a reading teacher for elementary students that is a genre I read the most from but I look forward to trying the genres you have suggested.
